In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Food Authority Spokesman, Waqarullah Khan said that online system for issuance of license has made the system transparent.
The official said that the food authority is giving every possible support and help to its customers to restore confidence on the performance of the authority. He said the licenses were issued within three-day after fulfilling all required formalities.
The spokesman informed that so far 4,000 licenses have been issued in Peshawar, followed by 1500 licenses in Mardan and revenue of Rs 30 million generated through e-licensing system.
He said the prime objective of the Athority was to make licensing process easy and feasible to facilitate customers. The official said that automation process was being introduced through which the client would be informed through SMS about status of the license.
